FCCLA played a pivotal role in my life. The skills I gained throughout my time as a state officer has begun to serve its purpose during my college years. Before FCCLA I was shy and struggled when it came to public speaking, but now I've mastered the art of public speaking and plan on presenting at my university's global symposium in the fall. Without the guidance I received from my mazing advisors, I wouldn't be in position today, able to take on new challenges and accomplish the wonderful opportunities that have been presented to me.
